UPDATE: on Jan 25, 2018 the arrest warrant for Murder, against Vincent Alexander, was recalled (cancelled).
1/24/2018 (updated 2/26/2018) - Del City, OK -- A Oklahoma woman who worked as an Internet prostitute is shot and killed during a home invasion robbery. A man inside the residence, who shot both of the intruders, is on the run as a questionable arrest warrant for murder is issued against him.
You probably heard about the January 12th Del City home invasion and murder that was reported by every news outlet in the Oklahoma City metro area (KFOR | KOCO | KWTV | KOKH ) but you probably didn't see any reporting on the motivation for the home invasion.
JohnTV has recently been made aware of a prostitution connection that was most likely the primary motive to the fatal robbery.
According to court records, on Jan. 12, around 12:30 a.m. Oklahoma City police received a 911 call regarding a home invasion where multiple people had been shot and a female resident was presumed dead.
When police arrived at the home in the 3100 block of Neighbors Lane in Del City, they found a chaotic scene; one alleged home invader was alive and laying inside the home's doorway, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The home was riddled with bullet holes from an apparent gun fight and one female occupant was dead in a back bedroom.
JohnTV has learned that the home had been occupied at the time by most likely five individuals; A 26-year old white female identified as Morgan Ashley Hurt of Dixon, IL, another adult white female, 25, an adult black female, a young child and a 29-year old man named Vincent Lamont Alexander.
According to Maj. Ted Kleber with Del City Police, two brothers Darious and Sharonne Jackson, who reportedly lived only a block from the crime scene, approached the home and when one of the female occupants answered the door, they "detained her and dragged her back to the back bedroom where another female was with her acquaintance (Alexander) in the bedroom."
The Jackson brothers demanded money from the home's occupants and Sharonne Jackson reportedly held a gun to Hurt's head.
According to police, "one of the witnesses stated that when asked for money, she took out several $100 bills and tossed it towards them."
Shortly thereafter, Alexander, who had reportedly been sleeping in the bedroom, retrieved a handgun from under his pillow and began firing at the Jackson brothers - with Sharonne Jackson firing back. Both Jackson brothers were struck by bullets fired by Alexander.
In the midst of the gunfire, Morgan Hurt was shot at least twice; once in the head, and died.
According to at least one media report, an adult female and her child both hid in a closet during the fatal home invasion robbery.
The Jackson brothers fled, but Sharonne Antonio Jackson collapsed at the front door. Darious O'Neil Jackson was located not long after the home invasion at Saint Anthony's East hospital with a gunshot wound to his foot.
Darious Jackson was transferred to the Oklahoma County Jail the same day and his brother Sharonne was released from the hospital and transferred to jail on the 20th. Both are being held without bond.
Vincent Alexander, a convicted felon, also fled the scene with his firearm before police arrived.
On Jan. 22, Darious and Sharonne Jackson were both criminally charged in Oklahoma County with felony murder in the first degree. Sharonne was also criminally charged with felon in possession of a firearm.
JohnTV has learned that Sharonne Jackson has an extensive criminal record. At the age of only 17, Sharonne Jackson pleaded guilty in 2005 in Oklahoma County to three counts of shooting with intent to kill. In 2008, at the age of 20, Sharonne Jackson was charged and later convicted of felony possession of a firearm. Jackson was given a 10-year prison sentence in 2009, but was released in Oct. of 2013. Jackson's criminal resume also includes convictions for felon in possession of a firearm, embezzlement, failure to register as a violent offender and assault with intent to kill. Jackson was just most recently released from prison on Jan. 5, 2018 - just one week prior to this deadly home invasion.
Darious Jackson previously pleaded guilty in Oklahoma County on Nov. 15, 2017 to two felony counts of larceny of merchandise from a retailer and obstructing an officer. Darious Jackson is currently on five years probation for that conviction.
Also criminally charged is Alexander. On the day of the fatal home invasion, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Alexander for murder in the second degree and felon in possession of a firearm.
Court documents state Alexander is a convicted felon out of Texas. Alexander was previously convicted of unlawfully carrying a handgun.
At the time of the fatal home invasion, Alexander reportedly worked for the City of Midwest City.
In Oklahoma, because Alexander is a felon and forbidden to possess a firearm, he has made himself criminally liable for Hurt's death, even though he most likely did not shoot her and was defending himself and others.
In recent days JohnTV has been made aware of a prostitution connection that most likely was the motive to this fatal home invasion.
Soon after the shooting, JohnTV began receiving information that the home where the shooting occurred is a rental and that the female occupants were prostitutes and often engaged in prostitution inside the home.
This information seemed to be confirmed when a 'John' on a website dedicated to the promotion of prostitution posted the following the same day of the incident; "Provider killed last night http://www.news9.com/story/37256536/-home-invasion."
The 'John's' post was followed by several more posts from other 'Johns' and prostitutes expressing their condolences...
Soon after the initial post, an Internet prostitute by the screen name "Sexibby" identified herself as the "sister" of the deceased (Hurt) and also claimed to have been in the residence at the time of the home invasion robbery and murder. JohnTV has since learned the true identity of "Sexibby", and that she indeed did live in the residence in question and was inside the home at the time of the home invasion turned murder. JohnTV is only going to refer to her as V.S.
On V.S's personal Facebook page, she clarifies that she and Hurt were not blood relatives, but had lived together as family for several years. A Facebook friend of V.S.'s then shared some really good advice - as seen below...
V.S., 25, then made a post that seems really odd.
V.S. seems to indicate, just six days after her "sister" was murdered in their home, that she "will be available Monday [and that the] house is still being cleaned.
V.S. appeared to be indicating that she will be available for prostitution very soon and in the very house her "sister" was killed in - after she cleans up the blood and all of course.
Fortunately JohnTV has learned that the rent house where this occurred is no longer being rented by Hurt or V.S. and is being professionally cleaned and rehabilitated by the home's owner.
Below is a recent ad V.S. posted online. You'll notice she mentions an "in-call location." This is prostitution talk for, "you can come to my place. No motel required." A quick check of V.S.'s, aka "Sexibby's", online reviews confirms that her in-call location was the house on Neighbors Lane.
Online records indicate that V.S. has convictions in Oklahoma County for possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.
V.S. has active cases in Oklahoma County for felony embezzlement, pointing a firearm at another, possession of marijuana and carrying contraband into a penal institution.
Also, on the day of the home invasion turned murder, another female that was allegedly inside the home at the time posted this publicly to her personal Facebook profile - and tagged Hurt. in her post.
The only obituary that could be found for Hurt was barely a mention from Stittsworth Funeral Home out of Enid; "Morgan Ashley Hurt Jul. 24, 1991 - Jan. 12, 2018. Hurt, Morgan Ashley, 26, child care, died Jan. 12. Services pending (Amy Stittsworth, Enid)."
JohnTV did locate this public post by Hurt's father expressing his grief over senselessly loosing his daughter.
V.S. posted the following image publicly to her personal Facebook page on Jan. 15th.
Then there is what has to be the must f'ed up condolence post I've ever seen...
Yeah, you read that right. Some tool thought it was a good idea to basically tell the survivor of a deadly home invasion, "Hey, I know you've been through a lot, but man I had a really good time paying to fuck you and your dead friend." And people wonder why JohnTV despises 'Johns' so much.
As of this posting, Alexander has not yet been located by authorities, nor has he turned himself in.
