3/16/2017 - Moore, OK -- Well, if you thought the allegations and facts surrounding Oklahoma Senator Ralph Shorty were bad so, far, wait until you read the criminal complaint affidavit.
WARNING, it's gets pretty graphic. You can read the actual document at the bottom of this article...
According to the affidavit filed in criminal case number CF-17-430 in Cleveland County this morning...
As has already been widely reported, earlier this month, Sen. Ralph Shortey (R. District 44) contacted a 17-year old boy he had known for about a year, picked him up around midnight and took him to a low budget Motel 8 in Moore. There he was confronted in his room by police. A search and statements revealed Sen. Shortey offered the teen marijuana and Sen. Shortey brought with him a backpack containing a box of condoms. In a backpack the teen had was found a bottle of lotion.
While Sen. Shorty was not arrested at that time, and has yet to make a statement, Moore police make it known that they were investigating the situation as a crime.
That investigation has now apparently resulted in three criminal charges;
Engaging in child prostitution, engaging in prostitution within 1,000' of a church and transporting a minor for prostitution.
The most shocking details revealed in the probable cause affidavit come in the form of an electronic communication allegedly between Sen. Shortey and the teen.
