6/22/2016 - OKC, OK -- The arrest of a woman during prostitution sting leads to the arrest of her two alleged pimps. All three were charged yesterday in Oklahoma County court.
According to court records, an undercover officer with the Oklahoma City Police Department's Vice Unit responded to an ad posted to Backpage.com.
The officer met with a female, later identified as Cashay Rene Randles, 24, of Glendale, AZ, at the Quality Inn & Suites near I-40 and S. Meridian Ave.
Once inside the room, Randles allegedly agreed to perform specific sexual activity in exchange for $180.
As Randles was being processed at the scene, two men arrived in a vehicle to pick her up.
Police approached the men and identified the driver as 38-year-old Marcus Dwayne Beasly, of Albuquerque. Beasly's passenger was Robert Lee Williams, 27, of Costa Mesa, CA.
Police found Williams to be in possession of the same brand and style of condoms Randles was using in her alleged prostitution activities.
Beasly was also found to be in possession of a marijuana cigarette.
Randles was booked into jail on complaints of offering to engage in prostitution and felony computer crimes. Randles' bond was set at $2,500.
Beasly was booked into jail on complaints of aiding prostitution and possession of marijuana. Beasly's bond was set at $1,500.
Williams was booked into jail on a complaint of aiding prostitution. Williams' bond was set at $1,500.
In case you didn't catch that - the alleged pimps bond was set lower than the bond of the woman they were prostituting.
Formal criminal charges were filed in Oklahoma County last Friday against all three. Randles was charged with offering to engage in prostitution. Williams and Beasly were charged with aiding and abetting prostitution. Beasly was also charged with possession of marijuana.
