Texas Prostitution Ring Busted Up in OKC with trio's arrest

6/1/2016 (updated 8/12/2016) - OKC, OK -- A prostitution ring out of Texas was broken up in the metro late yesterday with the arrest of three by members of the Oklahoma City Police Department's Vice Unit.

This is a developing story. Details are limited at this time. Check back here for information as it becomes available.

Here is what we know so far.

This morning three individuals, with direct ties to Lubbock, TX, were booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. The three have been identified as Kendrick Taylor, 31, McKenzie Alexis Smallin, 22, and Victoria Suzann Bowen, 18.

Taylor was booked in on a complaint of aiding and abetting prostitution, felony possession of CDS, possession of paraphernalia and possession of criminal proceeds. Smallin and Bowen were booked in on felony computer crimes, offering to engage and possession of marijuana.

Below is a video of Bowen and Smallin as posted publicly to Victoria Bowen's social media account just last Friday.

It is not known at this time whether or not Smallin and Bowen were prostituting under force or if they consented.

It appears the trio was discovered during a routine Backpage.com prostitution sting.

Additional information obtained by JohnTV indicates this prostitution ring is very mobile and has posted similar online prostitution ads in Amarillo, Colorado Springs, Corpus Christi, Oklahoma City and San Antonio, to name but a few. However, all three have previously listed Lubbock as their city of residence in the recent past.

Below is just one of the Backpage.com ads that led to the trios arrest.

Social media posts by Smallin may give some indication that she was prostituting herself of her own free will.

As posted publicly by McKenzie Smallin to social media.

As posted publicly by Victoria Bowen to social media.

As of this posting, no formal criminal charges have been filed against in regard to this case.

JohnTV will continue to follow this story.

UPDATE: 8/1/2016 - Bowen and Smallin were officially criminally charged in Oklahoma County.

UPDATE: 8/12/2016 - Kendrick Taylor was formally charged in Oklahoma County with felony possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
